Founder
I'm just a guy who loves all types of music and web designing. I didn't see any fan sites or offical sites for MEMI so I built this as a fun hobby project. I've worked with Aaron North of Nine Inch Nails and in my free time I work on expanding my Rocksmith community, CustomsForge.
What this site is
A fan-run archive of MEMI's work: the releases in order, every live date there is a record of, the photographs and clips she has posted, and a set of written pieces that count what is in the archive and check it against what has been published elsewhere. It exists because there was no official site and no other fan site collecting any of it in one place.
What it is not
It is not official and it is not affiliated with MEMI, with DayOneDream or with any label, promoter or festival named anywhere on it. Nothing here is written with her involvement or approval, and nothing on it should be read as her speaking. Where a page quotes her, it is quoting a published interview and links to it.
How the writing is done
Figures come from the archive on this site and are dated where they are given, so a number can be checked against the page it came from. Songs are not identified by ear and gaps are not filled in by guessing: an uncertain cover is left uncategorised rather than attributed to the wrong band. Quotes and dates are linked to their source at the foot of each piece, and where two sources disagree the piece says so.
Photographs, video and corrections
The photographs and videos belong to MEMI and to the photographers, promoters and broadcasters who made them. Every image links to the post it came from and every video plays from the channel that uploaded it, so the view and the traffic go to the source. Anything here can be corrected or taken down on request, by her, by a rights holder or by anyone who spots a mistake.
How it is paid for
Running costs are covered by display advertising, served through Google AdSense. Ads are not shown on the photograph, cover or media indexes, because the substance of those pages was made by other people. There are no paid placements: nothing appears on this site because someone paid for it to.
