Corrections

Most of what is worth writing about is a correction. Wrong venue name, a show listed on the wrong date, a cover filed under the wrong original artist, a Korean title transliterated badly, a credit missing. Send the page it is on and what it should say instead. Corrections get made directly rather than annotated, and the page that changed carries a new modified date in the sitemap afterwards.

Rights holders and removal requests

Photographs and video thumbnails on this site come from public posts on MEMI's own accounts and from public YouTube uploads. They belong to whoever shot them. If you hold rights in something published here and want it taken down, write in and say which URL and which item, and it comes down. There is no form to fill in and no counter-argument waiting: the request is honoured, and a note is kept so a later automated import does not put it back.

The same applies to a photograph of you that you would rather not have collected here, whether or not you own the copyright in it.

Press and research

The archive holds several thousand dated items going back to 2022, which is occasionally useful to somebody writing about the Korean rock scene. Questions about what is in it, how it was assembled, or how a particular figure was counted are welcome. The notes pages show the method behind the numbers this site publishes.

What this address is not for

Fan mail, demo submissions, booking enquiries and interview requests all need to go to MEMI's label rather than here, since nothing sent to this address is forwarded on. Messages about advertising placement, link buying, or guest posts are deleted unread.
