I know of 54 MEMI shows: fifty-three played and one still to come. The earliest was on 19 May 2012 and the last announced is on 18 October 2026.

Year Shows
2012 4
2013 8
2014 7
2015 6
2016 4
2017 1
2018 0
2019 1
2020 0
2021 1
2022 2
2023 1
2024 7
2025 3
2026 9

2026 is the busiest year, but only just: nine shows against eight in 2013 and seven in both 2014 and 2024. What changed in 2026 was the kind of booking.

2012 to 2016: band work

Twenty-nine of the fifty-three played shows fall in these five years, the last of them on 30 September 2016, and every one was with 24Hours. That meant side stages at Jandari Festa (three times), Super Sonic 2012 at Olympic Park, Citybreak 2014 at Seoul World Cup Stadium and Jisan Valley Rock in 2016, and the Seoul International Music Fair at the DDP in 2015. In the Hongdae clubs it was Rolling Hall four times, Club FF twice, and two headline nights at Club Crack and Club FF. There was also an EBS Hello Rookie audition round in October 2012, and a Tune Up bill at CJ azit Gwangheungchang in December 2015, the same room where she would play her own EP release show eight years later.

2017 to 2021: military service, and Seoulmoon

24Hours stopped at the end of 2016 because the band's male members were called up for mandatory military service. The account of their December 2016 "Jane" release show puts the bassist's enlistment a week later, on 27 December. The band's own posts say they reunited in October 2020, announced a show for July 2021 that was cancelled, and finally played again at Black Market in Yongsan on 18 December 2021.

MEMI, meanwhile, was in Seoulmoon, which she had formed in 2016 with Lee Ruri and Shin Hye-mi. Seoulmoon put out fourteen releases between December 2016 and August 2020, more than 24Hours made in twice the time. They played the 26th Live Club Day in April 2017 and opened for the American band COIN at Move Hall on 14 August 2019.

That makes three known shows in five years, and none in 2018 or 2020. If you have a poster, a ticket or a lineup from anything she played between 2017 and 2021, please send it through the contact page.

2022 and 2023: starting again alone

Two in 2022: Voyage to Jarasum on 27 August, and US Earth Festival at Nanji Hangang Park on 15 October. One in 2023: the M3MI release show at CJ azit Gwangheungchang on 22 December. She told an interviewer that January that she wanted to start playing properly that year, after four shows in the previous five years.

2024: six shows abroad

Seven shows, six of them abroad. The FRIENDS:FOREVER showcase at SXSW in Austin on 14 March, presented by Jaded, was forty minutes long and her American debut. Incheon Pentaport followed on 4 August. Then a run through September: BIGSOUND in Brisbane on the 5th, on a Split Works showcase billed "An Asian Music Mixer"; The Tivoli in Brisbane on the 6th for Concrete & Grass; and the Sydney Fringe Festival on the 7th. Then Clockenflap on Hong Kong's Central Harbourfront on 30 November, a forty-five minute afternoon set of "LOVE SONG", "Waikiki", "Thin Lips Club" and "Guitar Pick", and FireBall Fest at the Rakuten stadium in Taoyuan the next night.

2025

Three shows: JUMF in Jeonju on 17 August, LaLaLa Festival in Jakarta on the 24th, and MEMI : The Ring at Big Bear Boxing Club in Seoul on 21 December. Jakarta was the closing day of a three-day bill at JIExpo Kemayoran topped by Black Eyed Peas, Keshi and Tinashe.

2026, in order

13 March, MOONDOG, Taipei. Before the label and before the single.

7 April. DayOneDream announce an exclusive contract. Their other artists are BTOB and Lee Chaeyeon, which is part of why a rock guitarist signing got more coverage than a signing usually gets.

30 April. "BADidea" is released, at noon KST.

9 May, Musinsa Garage, Seoul. The first headline show under the new deal, billed BAD idea : Out of Line, at 6pm, and it sold out. MK Sports put the set at ninety minutes and listed it: "Get da Faka", "Thin Lips Club", "I don't give a", "Hate U", "i'm broken", "RocK N RoLL", a cover of Deftones' "Be Quiet and Drive", "BAD idea", and songs she had not released. Her line from the stage, translated: "I really love rock, and I simply played guitar, yet this incredible thing happened in my life. I'm truly grateful."

Four clips from the night are on the media page.

20 May, YES, Manchester. The basement room.

22 May, The Shacklewell Arms, London. Sold out ahead of the date. The reported set opened on "Get da Faka", went through "Thin Lips Club", got the room singing "Guitar Pick" back at her and encored on "Waikiki". Both rooms hold a few hundred people, and both have had HAIM and Beabadoobee through them.

27 June, Spring Wave, Taichung. The second Taiwanese date of the year.

10 July, Vel.R, Seoul. A shared bill on 모탄절's 영호의 인디가요 콘서트 series, billed 김뜻돌 X 매미. Three clips from it are on the media page as well.

12 August, Yes24 Live Hall, Seoul. Opening for The Warning on their first Korean show, which she posted about herself as an opening slot. She had put up a cover of their "Ego" five weeks earlier.

2 September, MU:CON, Seoul. The Korea Creative Content Agency showcase, at the Cube Convention Center in Sangam. 24Hours played MU:CON's 2015 edition at the DDP, eleven years earlier.

18 October, INMUFE, Suwon. The Gyeonggi indie music festival, and the only date still ahead. She is on the Sunday at 1:20pm.

Abroad, and her name on the bill

She played no foreign dates at all until 2024, then six in that one year across the US, Australia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, one in 2025 and four in 2026. 2024 is still her biggest year abroad.

What 2026 has is her own name on the door. Of the five Korean dates this year, one is a sold-out headline show and one is an opening slot for a touring international act. In 2013, the other eight-show year, every date was a Hongdae club or a Korean festival, and the name on the bill was 24Hours. In 2024 she was the imported support on somebody else's showcase.
